Victoria's Secret Launches New Limited Edition Fragrance w/ Supermodel turnout

Saturday, April 24th from 12-3pm

Victoria's Secret celebrated Mother's Day and the launch of a new limited edition fragrance Heavenly Flowers.  People lined up early at their Soho location on 591 Broadway, New York so they could get a FREE dream angels Heavenly fragrance rollette, exclusively for the first 500 customers.  Sexy supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, and Candice Swanepoel posed in spring colors and floral arrangements for paparazzi and passer- byers alike who went wild.  People snapped shots, hooted and hollered for their attention and the bombshell beauties obliged with innocent smiles and a hair toss. Yeah, I admit it I was snapping shots in awe like the rest of the crowd.

Inside, Victoria's Secret was adorned in beautiful floral arrangements, oranges, yellows, pinks, and purples burst out under lace undies and push-up bras and it was amazing.

It's funny I seem to always see the same people when I go to these free events.  They must be thinking the same thing when they see me and the usual crew.  The only thing that I didn't like was that they didn't let people in at 12 sharp but kept us longer than that.  Inside it was a mad house and was disorganized.  People that had been waiting hours on the line were suppose to get a .25Fl oz fragrance rollette upon entering but instead were rudely told not to block the entrance with no one distributing them in site.  Regular customers who were there to shop walked in long before we did and everybody was one big mix.  We had to hunt a woman down to get our free sample for being within the first 500 people and even she had an attitude saying we needed to make a purchase when the flyer clearly stated the opposite.  All in all it was good. I got my fragrance and strolled out.

With a $35 purchase you were entitled to...

  • Personalized autographs  from the Supermodels
  • Free flower bouquet inspired by their new fragrance
  • Makeovers for you & your mom with the VS Makeup Supermodel Artist Team
  • Free Dream angels Heavenly rollette (500 customers)
I had so much fun.  I hope to see you at the next big event.  There are so many things you can do in NYC with an unlimited metro card and some free time on a lovely day.  I'll be posting more events so keep an eye out. Glitz Lipz Out!
