After a night of drinking, dancing, and mingling at the Nylon and Sebastian salon event I woke up at the crack of dawn and headed to the grand opening of a new Sephora on 97th street. It was a brisk morning but I was determined. It was just what I needed to sober up from the festivities the night before. (lol) Wind, cold, and rain couldn't keep me from free make-overs, free gift cards( ranging from $10 to $500), and testing freshly opened cosmetics. It was a dream come true. The line was pretty long by the time I got there but I knew I was within the first hundred. The store opened on April 16th around 10am but I got there a little after 7am. 
See for yourself, the line went all the way down the block and around the corner. It was a mad house but then again it is a Sephora grand opening.
I was with a gal pal. Our faces lit up as we were handed our version of Willie Wonka's golden ticket.
When I finally got inside I was ready for my free gift card. I received a $25 gift card but have yet to use it. I tried a Sephora lip pencil in "pleasant plum" with a thin layer of clear lip gloss over it which gave me the perfect red lip, rich with color, and it definitely made my lips pop.
