Slice Out Hunger: Really Good Pizza for a Really Good Cause- $1 May 27th
When: Thursday, May 27
Time: 6:30 - 9 PM
Where: GAP Adventures
364 Avenue of the Americas
Cost: $1 slices, raffles, prizes, International Pizza Exhibit!
Scott's Pizza Tours and GAP Adventures annual "Slice Out Hunger" event on May 27 at GAP Adventures in Greenwich Village.
They will have pies from some of New York's finest pizzerias available for $1 per slice! Keeping with the $1 theme, there will also be cans of soda and raffle tickets for some pizza-related prizes for $1.
All proceeds will be donated to City Harvest, New York's leading food rescue organization. Lombardi's and John's are rumored to be providing some of the $1 slices..
Since GAP Adventures books unique expeditions for adventurous travelers, they'll be displaying international pizza menus, magazines and pizza boxes. So far, they have boxes from Hungary, China, and the Czech Republic!
